Keenan swam a time trial today in the 50 free to qualify for the state meet in Rochester, he made the cut exactly. I cried when I realized he qualified for the state meet, he has worked so hard and really wanted this achievement. Today I am a proud mama.
I began this blog to keep track of Keenan's swimming progress, since I lost the first blog I will have to do some back tracking fortunately Keenan has some pretty techy coaches and the results are already online.

Keenan had a variety of spectators attending this meet, Grandpa and Grandma Madson were in attendance on Friday along with Craig and I, it was so hot, being the rookies we were not quite prepared for this meet, we would learn from the mistakes we made today.
Saturday, Don and Grace Pierce attended the meet with Craig, Haley and I, today we brought chairs and set them up on the shady side of the building we also brought along a cooler of water.
Sunday, Craig, Haley and I were present to cheer Keenan along and congratulate him on his accomplishment.
Keenan came home with ribbons for the following:

6th place 100 Free
5th place 100 Fly
6th place 200 Free
